I have been reading up on how fast a cat can go downhill quick. You just never know when something is going to go wrong.I had to take my Bambi to a clinic on a Sunday afternoon because he had is eyelash cut by one of the other cats, they were playing to rough, but it scared me because that's his eyes.200.00 later I had to put a cream in his eye. I took him right in to see his own dr. The vet told me not to put anything in his eyes because the cream was making his eyes red. Bambi's eyes cleared up in a few days.so I would take the cat in asap. I don't play around with their health. If their sick they will be going to the vet. My take, although it may sound "hard" is actually just one heck of a lot of concern for felines. I do not understand the thought processes of a person who has a feline child, and at 5 months they certainly are children, having realized their cat has been attacked by a dog or other large predator jumps on The Internet as opposed to calling or visiting a vet.
