		<description>That&#039;s interesting about your kitty opening her mouth and you not hearing the meow.

Our Bowie was/is like that. For the longest time (a couple of years, at least), he would open his mouth, look like he was meowing but we couldn&#039;t hear him. One time the vet had him for the day and commented to us about Bowie meowing when she went to the cage to check on him.  

My husband and I looked at each other and said, &quot;He meows?&quot;

We think Bowie decided he didn&#039;t need to meow because he got from us what he wanted anyway so why talk about it? 

He does meow now, though, so that we can hear him..but still not a lot. (He&#039;s got three brothers.)</description>
